Health checks for women (fact sheet)
It’s important to see your doctor for regular health checks so you can find and treat any conditions early. A general check-up is recommended once a year. If you are at higher risk of a condition or disease, you may need to have some checks more often. The fact sheet includes information on checks for your heart, cholesterol, diabetes, sexual health, blood pressure, bone health, breasts, bowel, mental health, dental, eye, hearing, vaccination, and skin and cervical screening tests.
