Genuine, positive relationships with children, families and each other are essential if we want to achieve positive outcomes. When we think about relationships, it is usually relationships with children that spring to mind. But the relationships and partnerships that we build with families are just as important. Working with parents is rewarding, challenging and always full of possibilities.
01 Jan 2021... A calendar that provides a simple, fun and visual activity for children and parents/carers. Families are encouraged to complete an activity each day as shown on the calendar. Learning these common skills during the school holidays supports children's independence and readiness for school. Early Years Services and Primary Schools are encouraged to provide copies to all families to support the inclusion and participation of families from a refugee background transitioning into Primary School.
