The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) provides free English language classes to migrants and humanitarian entrants with low English levels to help them settle and participate in the Australian community. If you are eligible, you can now stay in the program longer and the previous 510-hour cap has been removed. People who were previously not eligible may now be eligible. Participating in the AMEP gives you the English you need to get a job, help your children settle and participate more in day-to-day life in Australia.
