Asthma Education Flipchart
The Flipchart is a valuable patient education tool for use with your asthma patients. It provides a comprehensive overview of asthma management with chapters on understanding asthma, signs and symptoms, triggers, spacers, medications and devices, the Asthma Control Test, Asthma Action Plans and Asthma First Aid. There are links to Asthma Australia inhaler technique videos for all the available devices as well as using a spacer with or without a mask.
Printed versions of the Asthma Education flipchart are available in English as well as Arabic, Chinese and Vietnamese. Copies are available to you to order at no charge, thanks to support from state/territory and federal Government funding. The flipchart is A4 size, full colour, laminated and spiral bound. The lamination means you can use a whiteboard marker to emphasise points when in consultation with a patient, then wipe clean for the next use.
