Can I light a firepit?
These translated videos are developed by the Country Fire Authority for the state of Victoria.
These resources explain the rules for using fire pits, braziers and chimineas during a Fire Danger Period or on a Total Fire Ban day in Victoria. During a Fire Danger Period, they can only be used when winds are low and the fire pit is clear of anything that could catch fire. The fire must be completely out before leaving. Fire pits, braziers and chimineas cannot be used on Total Fire Ban days.
