Fever by the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network
Your child’s temperature can vary due to age, time of day, activity, emotions, sleep, or illness. The normal range is 36.5–38°C. A fever is above 38°C and often means the body is fighting infection.
Fever is common in children but can be serious if it lasts more than three days, occurs in a baby under three months, or causes a seizure (febrile seizure).
