Hysteroscopy - Information for inpatients

This information is for patients coming to the Royal Women's Hospital Victoria for an inpatient hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic (while asleep).

A hysteroscopy, also called a ‘hysteroscopy, dilatation and curettage’ is a procedure that lets your gynaecologist look inside your uterus (womb) to find out if you have a health condition or decide what treatment you may need.
