Image-based abuse quick guide
Image-based abuse is when someone shares, or threatens to share, an intimate image or video of a person without their consent. It also includes a type of blackmail known as ‘sexual extortion’ and sharing images of someone without clothing of religious or cultural significance they normally wear in public.
This guide defines image-based abuse and information on how you can report it, protect yourself, and how to get help.
