Immunisations during cancer treatment
This resource has been developed by PICS, Victoria’s Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service.
Immunisations (also called vaccines or injections) protect your child and the community from many different infections. While some vaccines are not recommended during cancer treatment, there are a number that can still be safely given and are recommended.
Read the leaflet below and talk to your child’s oncologist about which immunisations they should have during treatment.
