In our family we share the jobs - Raise them equal animation

The animation and supporting resources are fun and engaging tools to provoke conversations about raising gender equal kids, and to provide families, communities, and early learning settings with ideas and resources to support kids to reach their full potential free from limiting gender stereotypes.

Children look up to their parents, grandparents, and caregivers as role models. Our actions and behaviours shape their expectations and understanding of the world. By letting children see everyone in the household contributing to a variety of tasks and responsibilities, we teach them valuable lessons about equality and respect.

When we share jobs at home, we show our kids that everyone needs to contribute equally, regardless of their gender. This not only helps them understand the importance of teamwork but also breaks down outdated gender stereotypes. By demonstrating respect for one another and equality in the home, we model a world where families and relationships are safe and respectful. This creates an environment where children can thrive and grow up with a strong sense of fairness and mutual respect.
