Mushroom poisoning (fact sheet)

This resource explains that some wild mushrooms in Australia are poisonous and can cause serious illness or death. They often grow after autumn rain in parks, gardens, and bushland. Only eat mushrooms bought from shops. Watch children and pets closely. If someone eats a wild mushroom, call 13 11 26 or triple zero (000) immediately.
