Preconception counselling: social wellbeing (video)

This video talks about the importance of community health and family and social ties before pregnancy, and why it is essential for every woman thinking about having children to be surrounded by supportive and healthy relationships.

Preparing for pregnancy is not limited to physical or mental health, but also includes the social environment in which you live. Family support, healthy relationships, and a sense of belonging to a supportive community are all elements that contribute to your psychological well-being, reduce stress, and give you a sense of security during this sensitive stage of your life.

Building a network of positive and supportive relationships, whether with family, friends, or the community around you, directly reflects on your mental and physical health and makes your journey to motherhood more stable and reassuring.

This video is part of Rahma Health's pre-pregnancy care series, which provides you with the information you need during this important stage.
