We can talk about online sexual abuse (video)
Content warning: This video discusses child sexual abuse and may be distressing for some viewers. If you need support, contact **Lifeline** on 13 11 14 or **1800 RESPECT** (1800 737 732).
This video encourages parents and carers to talk openly with children and teenagers about online sexual abuse to help keep them safe. It explains that while these conversations can feel awkward, they make children more likely to speak up if something worries them.
The video suggests using simple, age-appropriate language to help kids understand their right to feel safe and to recognise unsafe behaviour. Parents are encouraged to reassure children that they will always be supported and to remind them of other trusted adults or services like Kids Helpline.
