Support at Home program – overview for providers (video)
This video explains the new Support at Home program from the Australian Government, starting on 1 November 2025. It explains to service providers how the new program replaces Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care, and helps older people live independently at home for longer.
The video outlines what will change, including better access to services, equipment and home modifications, faster support, and higher levels of care. The video also explains key features such as having one service provider, no fees for clinical services, and new options for restorative and end-of-life care.
