Anxiety is a normal part of life for children, adolescents and adults. This is usually a temporary response to stress. However, when anxiety persists it may be necessary to obtain assistance. Untreated anxiety that lasts for a longer period of time may make it difficult for a child to participate in normal activities and enjoy life.
This brochure introduces HeadtoHelp services, which were set up as a state-wide service by Victoria's six Primary Health Networks to offer clinical advice, referral and wraparound care for Victorians struggling to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. HeadtoHelp is a free service open to anyone in the Murray PHN region of any age who may be experiencing distress or mental ill health.
